Saving, Loading, and Managing Macros

Saving a Macro

Once you've recorded a macro you're happy with, you'll want to save it for future use.

  1. After stopping the recording, click the "Save" button.
  2. A file dialog will appear. Choose a location on your computer, give your macro a descriptive name (e.g., "daily-report-automation"), and click "Save".
  3. Your macro is now saved as a .json file.

Loading a Macro

You can load any macro you've previously saved to play it again.

  1. Click the "Load" button in the main window.
  2. Find and select the .json file for the macro you want to use.
  3. The macro's steps will be loaded into the application, ready for you to play, edit, or assign to a hotkey.

Managing Your Macros

Properly managing your macro files is key to an efficient workflow.

  • Organize Your Files: We recommend creating a dedicated folder to store all your macro .json files so you can always find them easily.
  • Deleting Macros: To delete a macro, simply delete its .json file from your computer using your file explorer.
